PARKS

The Uintah Basin has many parks in it's inventory.  Many of these parks are close to where you live and many of these parks are in need of attention.  Please leave feedback on what you think might be beneficial to the parks specifically and the District as a whole.


Love the new additions to the baseball complex & the restrooms added to the KOA complex.  the restrooms at the baseball complex could be updated with better running water & hand sanitizer.
Soccer fields, tennis & racquetball, gardens, nice sand volleyball
Tridell
  • More pavilions for big days like family reunions, Pioneer Day and others
  • More picnic tables
  • Expand park South and East when appropriate
  • More trees
  • Upgrade the bathroom structure or build new ones
  • Small bouldering play apparatus
  • More parking
  • Add walking path around park
Ballard City Park
  • Add more trees
  • Improve relationship from parking lot to park
  • Add 2 playground apparati
  • Remove pile of pavement in the baseball field
  • Renovate East end of pavilion, retaining masonry structure
  • Develop remaining property to the North and East as needed or warranted
Avalon Community Center
  • Remove right-of-way easement to the South of the community center and add pavilions
  • Improve road access to the rear of community center and rodeo grounds
  • Add baseball to area West of community center
  • Create connection between two community buildings for mutual benefits of amenities
  • Coordinate with fire station with their expansion
  • Consider water usage and access 
Lapoint
  • Add lighting
  • More swings
Serenity
  • Consider future developments to the undeveloped South section of park property
  • Frisbee Golf, ice rink and splash pad were mentioned as possible additions
  • Pave road access
